A CMS is a software that helps website owners build & manage a website without coding from scratch. It has predefined templates, themes & plugins that can be used to design & modify the website.

A CMS can be used by anyone who is familiar with web browsers & word processors (e.g. MS Word). No extensive technical knowledge is required.

Examples of CMS include WordPress, Drupal & Joomla.
