Guerrilla Marketing

« Back to Glossary Index

Guerrilla marketing is an advertising strategy that uses unconventional tactics to delight & attract customers. It is an alternative to traditional marketing.

Instead, it focuses on disrupting public spaces & events with unusual, memorable images or activities that may lead to brand association or purchase. Typically, it relies on human interaction in urban areas to significantly impact a small budget in hopes of spreading by word of mouth & social media.

Example: McDonald’s MacFries Pedestrian Crossing.
